CALL FOR PAPERS – 2022/2023

The Editorial Board of Algaita Journal of Current Research in Hausa Studies welcomes papers for inclusion in the 2023 (Vol XX1I) edition. Publication in this journal is always on a first-come, first-serve basis. Moreover, all articles are expected to be submitted on or before the 30th of October, 2023. The Journal publishes papers from various researches across the fields of (Hausa) Languages and Linguistics.

Today, Friday 18th August 2023, is a day to alert one and all that the Vice Chancellor; Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, FMAN, has come a long way in providing leadership to the university community. Yes, the Vice Chancellor is three years in office today. The Vice Chancellor and his management team are unrelenting in giving the needed direction for the development of the university.

Registration Fee Hike: Hundreds of BUK Students Get Indigent Scholarship

REGISTRATION FEE HIKE

Hundreds of students of Bayero University are to benefit with the indigent scholarship scheme from corporate bodies and other wealthy individuals to pay for their registration. 

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, disclosed this on Thursday, 10th August, 2023 when he received members of the Kano State Nigeria Union of Journalists Correspondents' Chapel in his office. 

He noted that many wealthy individuals have responded to solicitations made by the Management on the need to come to the aid of the needy students.
