Steps on how to check admission status

Qatar Charity Foundation, a humanitarian and development non-governmental organization, has planned to award scholarship to indigent students of Bayero University, Kano.

The Country Director of Qatar Foundation, Hamdi Abdou made this pledge when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas on Thursday, 16th May, 2024.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas is at Mauritius with the teams from the Centre for Dryland Agriculture (CDA) and Africa Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) for Africa Centers of Excellence International Partnership Workshop from May 8-10, 2024. The theme of the workshop is: Building Pathways Towards Sustainability through Collaborative Research and Innovation.

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Hadiza Shehu Galadanci has been awarded the prestigious title of "Innovator of the Year 2024" and her inclusion in the TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in Health for 2024. This recognition stands as a testament to Professor Hadiza's groundbreaking contributions to the Health sector.

The Faculty of Agriculture is  thrilled to introduce it's latest academic offering designed to empower post graduate students and shape the future of Agriculture. This is to inform all concerned students that the registration portal will be opened for candidates who chose Bayero University , Kano as first choice and were not able to register within the stipulated time in the 2023/2024 PUTME screening exercise.

The portal will be opened from Monday 22nd April, 2024 to Sunday 28th April, 2024.

The President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, has expressed the willingness of the Bank to support the Centre for Dryland Agriculture (CDA) in addressing food security challenges in the drylands of Africa.
