The management of Bayero University has extended the Undergraduate registration period for the 2023/2024 academic session until August 19, 2024. This extension is due to delays in payment from the national scholarship program, which has affected over five thousand students.

Security operatives in Bayero University, Kano have arrested two persons parading themselves as lecturers and selling books to unsuspecting level one fresh students.
