IMPORTANT NOTICE ON THE STATUS OF UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION/REGISTRATION PORTALS

A.    2021/2022 CANDIDATES

Candidates admitted in the 2021/2022 academic session are expected to do the following;

  1. If you have not already uploaded your results, visit the JAMB CAPS portal to do so.
  2. Then, after a few days, login to the JAMB CAPS portal again to print your admission letter. This may take a while because the University has to propose and recommend candidates to JAMB.
  3. Note that only JAMB approved candidates would be able to accept and print the JAMB Admission Letter. Candidates are therefore expected to keep trying the JAMB CAPS portal until they are able to print their letters. While trying, one of the following messages would be seen on the JAMB portal:

a. “Not admitted”

b. “Admission in progress or admission is being processed”, and

c. “Admitted” if you are given admission

Only candidates in "c" above can accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

  1. Candidates that print their admission letters should liaise with their Level Co-ordinators in the department where admission is granted for the correct courses to be taken and commence lectures as from 22nd November, 2021.

  1. Candidates should continue checking the BUK portal at “www.mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening/”   to do the online screening from Monday, 29th November, 2021 to get their registration number.

  1. Then proceed to www.mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/ug/ to register with the University by making central payment and register your courses online. Print all the relevant printouts and submit to your Level Co-ordinator for departmental documentation.
